128111 Poplar Grey Acronicta megacephala Length 20mm. A subtly-patterned moth with a slightly powdery look to its wings; it rests with its wings held flat or in a shallow tent-like manner. Adult has grey forewings with a dark-ringed pale circle and subtle dark lines. Flies May–August. Larva feeds on poplars and willows. Widespread and common only in southern and central Britain.
