122930 ST PATRICK’S-CABBAGE Saxifraga spathularis (Saxifragaceae) Height to 30cm. Tufted perennial of damp rocky places. FLOWERS are star-shaped and white; the five petals have yellow basal spots and red spots above. Borne on slender stalks (Jun-Aug). FRUITS are dry capsules. LEAVES are spoon-shaped, toothed and stalked; appear as a basal rosette. STATUS- Very locally common in W Ireland and Wicklow.
