130395 NORTHERN ROCK-CRESS Arabis petraea (Brassicaceae) Height to 30cm. Variable perennial of rocky places in mountains. FLOWERS are 5-7mm across with 4 whitish or lilac petals (Jun-Aug). FRUITS are curved and 4cm long. LEAVES appear as a basal rosette of pinnately lobed, stalked leaves plus narrow, toothed stem leaves. STATUS-Local, restricted to mountains from N Wales northwards; commonest in Scotland.
