FLOWERS are borne in heads, 3-5cm across, comprising orange-yellow disc florets and bright yellow ray florets; carried in branched inflorescences of 2-5 heads (May-Jun). FRUITS are achenes. LEAVES are heart-shaped, toothed and stalked at the base of the plant; stem leaves are increasingly unstalked up the plant. STATUS-Introduced as a garden plant, and naturalised locally across the region.
