101909 Loggerhead Turtle Caretta caretta Length 1-1.5m Large, marine turtle. Widespread in warmer seas but threatened and endangered, especially when breeding. Small population exists in Mediterranean, nesting mainly on a few Greek islands and on coast of Turkey. Feeds on a variety of marine invertebrates.
