ENGLISH SCURVYGRASS Cochlearia anglica (Brassicaceae) Height to 35cm. Biennial or perennial of estuaries and coastal mudflats. FLOWERS are 10-14mm across with 4 white petals (Apr-Jul). FRUITS are elliptical and 10-15mm long. LEAVES are long-stalked and narrow; basal leaves taper gradually to the base while stem leaves clasp the stem. STATUS-Locally common around most coasts in suitable habitats.
