Ruddy Shelduck Tadorna ferruginea L 61-67cm. Related to Shelduck but with orange-brown body plumage and a paler buff head and upper neck. Occurs mainly in SE Europe but wanders in winter. Some records probably relate to wild birds but widely kept in captivity and escapees must be considered.
