Cornish Heath (Erica vagans) HEIGHT to 90cm. Forms low shrubs and, in suitable locations, covers extensive areas; it puts on a particularly spectacular flowering display around Kynance Cove. The flowers are small, pale pink, and in tall, dense spikes (Aug-Sept); the leaves are in 4s or 5s. The species also occurs, very locally, in Ireland.
