MUDWORT Limosella aquatica (Scrophulariaceae) Height to 10cm. Hairless, rosette-forming annual with creeping runners. Grows on damp mud, typically on the margins of drying ponds. FLOWERS are 3-5mm across and bell-shaped with 5 pinkish white lobes; on slender stalks arising from leaf axils (Jun-Oct). FRUITS are capsules. LEAVES are narrow-ovate and long-stalked.
