Marbled Brown Drymonia dodonaea Wingspan 35-38mm. A subtly attractive moth with rather rounded wings. Adult has forewings that are marbled grey-brown with a pale central band; the head and thorax are extremely hairy. Flies May-June. Larva feeds on oaks. Widespread throughout, but commonest in southern Britain.
