132425 Blackpoll Warbler Dendroica striata. A couple of dozen or so North American songbirds are recorded in Britain each autumn; amongst them Blackpoll Warblers occasionally get blown off course by severe gales and end up in western Britain and Ireland. The species’ usual wintering grounds are northern South America.
