HOARY MUSTARD Hirschfeldia incana. Height to 1m. Much-branched, upright annual of disturbed and waste ground. Flowers 6-8mm across, pale yellow; in terminal heads (May-Oct). Fruits slender, 15-17mm long and pressed close to stem. Leaves hoary; lower ones pinnate with an oblong terminal lobe, upper leaves unlobed. Status introduced and casual, commonest in south.
